The Storytelling Circle offers an informal setting for seasoned and rising storytellers to learn and practice their craft in a safe, supportive, and non-competitive setting.

Welcome to The Storytelling Circle where you are invited to share your stories, explore tall tales, and connect with a community of storytellers of all ages and experience. Novels, poems, paintings, dance, movies - all art is storytelling in different form. Our desire is to support the art of oral storytelling and promote this common thread of humanity that exists within all of us.

Entertainment, yes, but beyond that Storytelling allows us to stand in someone else's shoes, to feel compassion and empathy, to understand one another's journey of joy, sorrow, exhilaration, despair. Storytelling reminds us that we are not alone, that we are all one. It connects us to each other through a shared emotional space.

TSC is taking a hiatus but contact us if you want more information.

Community. We all seek it out. Storytelling is just another way of connecting with one another. Sharing stories of the heart, that make us laugh and cry, that inspire us... a universal form of connection.

The art of storytelling can be learned with support and coaching. If you've ever had the desire to tell a good story or become a better storyteller and share that experience with others, TSC will help you do just that when you join one of our workshops!

Who IS writing your story? Sometimes we become driven by our personal stories, caught up in the drama of what happened. If it's time to let go of the story or stories that are feeding your actions and behaviors (often unconsciously), we can help you write, practice, and tell the story in a way that allows you to release it's hold over you. Only then can you move on with the freedom to create the new story of your life that you desire (and deserve).

"There is no agony like bearing an untold story inside you." -Zora Neale Hurston
